We welcome special events planner, Samantha Kaszab to the Kapow Team!

Samantha Kaszab is currently a student at George Brown college obtaining her diploma in Special Events Planning and Marketing Management.

Samantha volunteered at the first annual “Living Pink Through Fashion” Show & Calendar Launch for Breast Cancer in October of 2010.

Kapow Models founder, Kimberly Edwards, was so impressed with Samantha’s abilities that she brought her on board the Kapow Team to plan special events for the agency.

Since the Summer of 2008, Toronto-based Laine Faye has become an experienced television, commercial and film actress. Trained at Second City, as well as The Universal Academy of Acting where she was honoured for her note-worthy improvisational skills.

Unsigned, Laine Faye had also become a successful print a& runway Model, trained by runway choreographer, Dale Hodder. She has walked for designers in Toronto, Montreal & New York City.

Laine has been the featured model for many designers who remember her by her bright green eyes, long naturally blonde hair and European look.

Laine is a triple-threat being a professionally trained singer and dancer who has used these skills in many publications, as well as weekly theatre performances in 2009 at CiRCA Entertainment.

Erin Meester is a makeup artist, wardrobe stylist and creative director.

Her background of fine arts has led her to expand in the fashion industry for the past 10 years ranging from model scouting to styling. She has experience in a variety of fields, but now specializes within her fashion agency, Make Up Your Look, since 2006.

Erin’s schooling in Fashion Business has provided her with the competitive edge needed to succeed in the fashion world.

She has worked with a wide variety of companies and photographers within many genres.

We would like to welcome model, Tyna Kottova, to our women’s modeling roster.

Tyna has been modeling officially for almost 3 years, but her talents go much farther back. Having both parents as photographers, she was introduced to the
industry from a young age. She was also supported in dance, acting and music from a young age, and is a well-rounded artist.

Tyna came to Canada when she was very young, being of Czech origin. She believes that family and culture are two things that are important to hold on to and appreciate. She takes an active part in the Czech community of Toronto, and became 1st Vice Miss Czech and Slovak Canada 2010. She also received honorable mentions in the Miss Perfect 10 pageant.

She has walked the runway for various Canadian designers at shows, including FAT 2010. Tyna has also taken part in many photoshoots for local Canadian designers, including Joy Couture and “K, Turn Around” Jewelry.

Whitney has experience on the runway and in editorial projects. Most recently, you would have seen Whitney walking the runway for Dea Swimwear!

Being very toned, she is a shoe-in for fitness modeling.

She has hopes of becoming very successful in this industry equipped with her passion for fashion and the knowledge she’s acquired from modeling since she was fifteen years of age.

Andresito is a serious up-and-coming model on the Toronto modeling scene. Congratulations to him for successfully becoming a contestant on the new Reality TV Show – Model Rage International!

He describes himself as goofy, but intelligent, and he definitely has a great sense of humor.

Andresito was born in Jamaica and raised in Canada for most of his life. Residing in Toronto, he graduated from Sheridan College for Police Foundation.

Andresito loves modeling and hopes to act in action movies.

Although winter has skies that are gray and wind that is cold, there is no reason you still can’t be stylish.

Many people that know me, know I am a shoe-a-holic. Boots are my specialty!

Being flamboyant is my forté; however, it is most important during winter to first have your basic colors that you can pair up with anything you want to wear.

On the higher end, Christian Louboutin shoes has a pair of boots I love and this basic style can afford you a great pair of boots to wear with jeans or dressed up to the nines.

These bad-boys on the left are basic black with fabulous button detail down the sides and 4″ stiletto heels. Black is a necessity for winter when it comes to boots. I enjoy the high heels of winter because in Canada, it gives me a good steak into the weak ice or snow I’m walking in.

Models: We all know it can be difficult hauling your things into a photo shoot from your car, be ready to “dig in” with those heels.

Looking at the Prada shoes line, there are a pair of smoke gray boots I’m “Jonesing” for!

They have 4.5″ heels, and are made of natural grain calfskin. These boots are shined up to put a smile on your face. Gray is a very versatile color for boots in the winter, and in my books, they are a necessity.

The tapered point toe makes these boots more comfortable wearing thicker socks in the cold.

Models: Gray can be used as the “new black” in many instances.

Okay – I’m going to give my pick for a flat boot for those people out there that aren’t crazy about wearing heels, especially in the winter.

I found a beautiful cognac-colored pair of flat riding-style boots that I’m partial to from Cole Haan shoes.

As a former equestrian rider, riding-style boots pull my attention. Classic elegance that are very functional for winter.

Kapow Models would like to welcome model, Bianka Bargmann, to the women’s roster!

Bianka was born on the beautiful island of Trinidad to a German father and an Indo-Trinidadian mother. She grew up in Trinidad, but moved to Canada at the age of 14.

Settling in Toronto’s East end, Bianka attended Birchmount Park Collegiate, and having graduated with honors, she is now attending the University of Toronto where she is double-majoring in History and Political Science with the intention of entering law school at the completion of her degree.
